How to use the Barber Mask?
Although the Barber Mask is a straightforward shaving tool, there's a small "learning curve" before you can use it easily. Unlike other kinds of masks, this one should be used in a certain way in order to optimize its benefits, make it more comfortable and, above all, to avoid scalding yourself with hot water.
But don't worry, after just a few tries, you'll see it is easy to use and putting it on will come quite naturally. Just follow the steps described below.
Before using the Barber Mask for the very first time, take the time to familiarize yourself with the product, how to put it on and adjust it.
LOOSEN THE ELASTIC BANDS
The first time you try the Barber Mask, it is better to adjust the elastic bands to reduce the tension and thus facilitate putting it on. Once you get used to your Barber Mask, you will know exactly what is the appropriate tension for optimal performance and comfort.
HOLD THE MASK
Start by holding the two ends of tissue with your thumb, ring finger and little finger.
CREATE AN OPENING
Hold the elastic band with your remaining fingers (index and middle fingers) in order to create an opening for your face.
PUT IT ON
Bring the mask just below your nose to cover your chin, while bringing the upper elastic band to the top of your head.
CLOSE THE CLASP
While you’re still holding the mask, release the upper elastic band and slip your hands behind to the clasp.
Then, with the left hand, hold the ring part of the clasp and insert the solid circle into the ring with you right hand.
PERFECT ADJUSTMENT FOR THE PERFECT FIT
Make sure the Barber Mask covers your face evenly. If necessary, move it slightly to obtain an optimal position.
Adjust the length of the elastic bands so that the Barber Mask fits your face evenly. If your mask fits properly, you should feel a slight pressure and the Barber Mask should be in complete contact with your skin.
REMOVE THE BARBER MASK
To remove the Barber Mask, hold the ring part of the clasp with the left hand, and remove the solid circle from the ring with your right hand. Then, remove it gently.
NOW WITH HOT WATER!
Once you have become familiar with this technique, you are ready to do it with hot water. Put the Barber Mask on slowly to ensure the temperature of the water is not too hot. With a little practice, you will find it's very easy to use.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
After each use, be sure to wring it out and hang it up so that it dries completely between uses. Wash it from time to time, following the instructions on the care label.
